Coffee with the Angels 11.16.17
Feelings refer to sensations that are not emotionally based or driven. Emotions are responses to stimuli. The sensations of both can be similar or the same bur their sources will be different.
You describe emotions as feelings because you are describing the sensations.
Feelings are happening all the time, some have high sensitivity to them while others have low sensitivity. Emotions are happening most the time, but we can bring them into a state of neutrality. We can elicit sadness or excitement in a matter of seconds. Feelings however are always present as there is deep sensation in even the most neutral, resting states of emotion.
